Today’s the day folks. One year ago today I blogged for the first time. More than 200 posts later (and a switch from Blogger to WordPress) and I’m still at it. Thanks to all the faithful readers, commenters and search engines that give me the impression that people actually read this blog.
The coming year will be challenging for me. In addition to overseeing a New Testament translation project for Nyungwe I’m also embarking on a multi-language dictionary project for Mozambique. I hope to continue to blog as often as possible on topics such as:
- Bible study methods
- Scripture distribution in Africa
- Christian living (parenting, living as a disciple of Christ, etc.)
- Random weirdness (half-baked ideas, rants, navel-gazing)
If you would like to receive information on our family check out the Afri-Kers Photo Journal.
If you would like to pray for us on a regular basis, contact me using the Contact link at the top of this blog.
Thanks for coming to my blogiversary. No presents necessary, just grab a piece of cake and enjoy the party.

Goodness is it only a year
Congratulations! Many happy returns…
