A picnic at the river
Categories: Culture

Eleanor enjoys a wet afternoon splashing in a river in Angonia, Mozambique.

The kids are collecting rocks in a shallow pool with their friends, Ashton and Katie.  In the background is the main course of the river which is moving quite fast.  You can also see the rather flimsy looking bridge in the top left of the photo. A week previously the bridge was completely covered by flood waters.
