Dinthi Day 10

“God’s word has no boundaries.”

That was the answer I got when I asked the school director this morning for permission to distribute a small leaflet in Nyungwe to the school children.  Then he said, “Did you hear the radio this morning? The President greeted the churches and wished them a blessed Easter weekend.” We handed out about 150 copies.

Ellie, Henry and Andrew attended school with many of these kids back in 2005.  On the walk home the kids ran into people’s yards and handed out many more of the leaflets.  Andrew and Ellie even gave some out at the store selling “moonshine” near the school.

Great picture. I imagine your kids really liked being able to share the Word with their former classmates. The moonshine coment was interesting. Reminds me that we need to be out in the world to be able to share the Word with those who need it.
Tonight we are going to the Good Friday service at Joni’s church. It will be a drama to depict the happenings that day and maybe what happened three days later.

Happy Easter. He has risen. He has risen indeed!
