Prayer for the world: Old Man of Africa
Our Father in Heaven, thank you for the old men of Africa who through their wisdom guide the young. Many old men have never heard the Gospel and the wisdom of their fathers is not sufficient to lead others to everlasting life. Have mercy on those who in their ignorance do not know you and praise you. And forgive us for not doing more to spread your glory in the darkest corners of the earth through Jesus Christ who is the savior of all old men.

His name was Sainete. I saw his son last week who is himself an old man of Africa in his sixties or seventies.
