I was contacted yesterday by Kelly Vaughn who with her husband Randy and four kids has just returned to the US after more than eight years in Benin, Africa. They adopted a Beninise girl. Quite an adventure!
The Vaughn’s have a terrific blog full of pictures and news about what they were doing in Africa. Check it out: Reflections on Life in Benin.

David, thanks for mentioning the Vaughns. Although I don’t know them, it is important for us to understand the cultural shocks you go through as you trnsition from “the field” to the States. For you and especially the kids, the field is home and when leaving you are leaving what is comfortable, even if it isn’t easy.
I will pray for each of you today that God will comfort, protect, and guide you in all that you do.
Thanks for being willing to go and help bring God’s word to the people of Mozambique.
Thanks a lot, Dad. We need your prayers and we pray for you often. The kids seem to be best at going between worlds.
