The Cyber-Psalms
Categories: Cyber-Psalm, Faith

This project is an exercise in experimental psalmody. Through these cyber-psalms I’m trying to answer the question, “What would the psalms sound like if they were written in modern times by a modern David?” I aspire to be like the poet king but can only claim to share his name. With these online prayers I’m hoping to glorify God with a wide-spectrum of thoughts and emotions.

Originally I didn’t allow comments on the Cyber-Psalms but created separate posts for my comments and comments by my readers. But this system was too cumbersome and when I opened the Cyber-Psalms for comments I didn’t find it to be a big distraction.

My goal is to write 150 cyber-psalms. If I publish one every Friday that should take about three years. However, I’m better at starting projects than finishing them so we’ll see!
