The Ongoing Adventures of ASBO Jesus
Categories: Faith

Caption: Walking hand in hand with faith and doubt.

One of the brightest of the rising stars of the blogosphere that I discovered during the recent Death By Blog Boredom Meme was Jon Birch at The Ongoing Adventures of ASBO Jesus. His simple illustrations are packed with meaning and humor. An ASBO in the UK is an “Antisocial Behaviour Order” which English courts are giving to misdemeanor offenders for everything from loitering to playing your home stereo too loudly. Jon uses the acronym for other purposes (See NOTICE).

Jon has posted an amazing 254 illustrations to date. May they continue!

I clicked through page after page of these illustrations. Many made me laugh, some I disagreed with, but all of them are thought-provoking. ASBO Jesus has been added to my list of New and Amazing Blogs on my Bloglines public blogroll.

P.S. Thanks to Jon for permission to post his image here and apologies that the resolution doesn’t seem to be as high quality as what he has on his blog.

That’s great! Thanks for the link. This is a pretty accurate picture of my spiritual walk. If I were queen of anything, it would probably be Queen of Cognitive Dissonace. Paul said, I have learned in all things to be content. The theme of my life right now is probably, I have learned in all things to live with paradox. Faith and doubt as my close companions is a big part of that.
