Cyber-Psalm 24
Categories: Cyber-Psalm

All my accomplishments are gaudy baubles.
All my official titles are stains and trinkets.
Only Christ is my exaltation.

The sacrificing missionary! Such a hero!
How warmed I am by the adulation.
How cold my heart when I feel forgotten.

Glory, glory, glory in the skies.
Heavenly Savior, sovereign over all.
His work not mine should be my song.

Stand beside me, my friends.
Let us not praise each other.
Together in our humility, sing his merits.

  1. MtJeff says:

You are worthy, Lord, to receive glory and honor and praise. For your pleasure we were created, glory, honor and praise to you.

We do stand beside you as you give honor to the Lord. Who ever we are and what ever we are doing, that is our purpose for being.

To see Him face to face is my desire. Not knowing if that will happen in this life or the life to come is a puzzle to me. I will continue to give Him glory and honor and praise.
