Cyber-Psalm 39
Categories: Cyber-Psalm, Faith

My heart is dreaming.
My mind is scheming.
     New Jerusalem.

Feet are jumping.
Hands are clapping.
      Freedom!

I’m free on the inside.
A heart that loves to party.
     Thank you, Jesus!

But I’ve got a sneaking feeling
     That better times are coming.
I’m praying for a cloudburst.
I’m hoping for a grand finale.

Heaven on earth.
     Boy, do we need it.
Screwed up about says it.
     Bad guys calling the shots.

Their time is coming.
The big surprise.
Right before their eyes.
Peace King cracks the skies
And then the party starts.

Then we’ll settle accounts.
Independence Day.
Not just the Gringos, either.
The whole big blue ball
Is going to sign its declaration of independence.

Until he comes, I’m holding on to my ticket.
Living today like tomorrow has come.
Kingdom came in my heart.
When he comes, I’ll be waiting with flags waving.
