This photo was actually taken last year on New Year’s Eve. Unfortunately we’re all out of fireworks, so today will be quiet. Next week we go to Malawi where you can buy bottle rockets, firecrackers and roman candles off the shelf.
I love the USA and am very proud to be an American. I would dearly love to be home right now.

i would dearly love for you to be home right now too! i have a few options of parties for today. there is the party down at the river with the johnston’s and all the gang. although a few years back i went and a firework went bad and shot 20 feet to where i was a burned me really bad…i was taken in the house and dr. neal helped get me going again.
there is the thing for church down at the park, i am kind of leaning towards that so that i could hang with the nieces and nephews.
and then i have a party with friends up in salem, but i am not super up for all that excitement. anyways, hope your fourth was amazing. Do you remember 10 years ago when we spent the fourth together in england and walked through the town square where the people were square dancing. I am glad that people have such a realistic view of our country! the last time i danced like that was in the fourth grade at PE. haha, love you
Hi there
