Some email business

  1. I am migrating my email from Yahoo! to Gmail. My Gmail address is now the name of this blog at gmail dot com. You’re welcome to use that. Also, remember that you can always contact me using the form on the Contact page of this blog or by clicking on “Click here to send me a private message” on the sidebar.
If you’re curious why I switched you might check out some of my posts on Yahoo!’s ad practices: The price of free email and I’m an email female. The main reason however is simply that Gmail allows me to download email into my email client free of charge.
  2. For those of you who use my corporate address, it is still the same.
  3. If you would like to receive our missionary prayer letter, you can now sign up for that on the web. The Ker Family Update is the inside scoop on our ministry in Mozambique and has been called “The Best Missionary Prayer Letter In The World!!!” (OK, I made that up.)
But I know that many of you do pray for us and our ministry on behalf of the Bibleless people in Mozambique so I’d encourage you to sign up. Your email address is protected and never published.
    • If you have a Google account: Visit Ker Family Update and request to be added to this list. I post an update about once every month or so.
    • If you don’t have a Google account: Send me a request via my Contact page.

And now back to our regularly scheduled programming…

A little sugestion for you-why dont you set up a filter to rerout all your Gmail mail into your corporate account, and one on your own account to shove it into a folder “public.” Then you dodge all adds, and only have to log into Gmail to send to people you don’t trust with your private address.

That’s exactly what I’m doing. Then I’ve added an extra account in Windows Mail (the Vista version of Outlook Express) that allows me to send from either account. It’s working quite nicely.
