So long and thanks for all the blurbs
Categories: Uncategorized

We’ve got a grand total of 56 blurbs with only 3 days to go. Those blurbs will be handy for the dust jacket of my forthcoming collection of Lingamish essays: The Lingamish Century.

Looks like I won’t have to make good on my vow to read the REB from “cover to cover.” I thought about looking for a loophole like just reading Leviticus 16:2 from “cover” to “cover”:

He said to him: Tell your brother Aaron that on pain of death he must not enter the sanctuary behind the curtain, which is in front of the cover over the Ark, except at the appointed time; for I appear in the cloud above the cover.

(Lev. 16:2, REB)

Well, it was fun anyhow. And I do have a little surprise for everybody starting on January 1, 2009. In 2006, I converted from Blogger to WordPress. In 2009, I’m converting from WordPress to… stay tuned!

Read the blurbs or add your own here: Blurbs.

in 2008? you’re about to miss out then because 2008 ends in a couple of days.

anyway- i’m guessing that you are converting from wordpress to no blogging at all- saying farewell as you have in your post title.

so, before you go forever back into the dark and dank dungeon of silent insignificance, let me be the first (and probably last) to say- i’ve enjoyed you. very much.

    Shoulda been 2009…

Nope, I’m not quitting. Blogging is too fun. I’m just trying some new stuff.

I’ll buy you a Sarah Palin calendar if you read through the REB. It’s got 50 heart warming photos.
