Not much, but thanks for asking. My wife is making naan bread tonight – we’re going to have Indian.

    Are you in Africa yet?

  2. David Ker says:

I love that stuff. I’ve only eaten it at Indian restaurants in Malawi. We fly on Friday.

  3. Steve says:

Last night we went to the IKE-BOX in Salem. It is a coffee shop in Salem where a new church is starting to minister to the students of Willamette University and the people in the downtown Salem neighborhood. It’s in a great old building, that used to be a funeral parlor! We believe there should be a safe place near every school where students can go and be in a safe enviornment where they will have an opportunity to hear the good news that Christ provided.

  4. David Ker says:

Good to hear. When I was at Tulane my friends and I had an Episcopal church nearby where they allowed us to come in and escape from the world.

  5. James says:

    Everything!

“Behold, I make all things new.”–Jesus

    That’s a mind-blowing statement.

Well, today is a historic day, Barbara was born on this day several years ago, so I suggest everyone celebrate! (That is if it IS the 20th yet wherever you all are ;)

  7. David Ker says:

    Yes, James, amen.

    Hippo birthday, Barbara!

  8. Well, I have a pinched nerve in my back and my right hand is partially numb. Exciting times! Also, I’m waiting to hear from you re: alternatives to record Cyber-Psalms. ;-)

  9. David Ker says:

Sorry about the nerve. Ouch! Someone just used my Gabcast station to record a Cyber-Psalm and the quality was excellent. It’s toll free and doesn’t require any equipment except for a phone.

    Check it out here: http://lingamish.com/2008/10/09/recording-a-cyber-psalm-toll-free-by-phone-in-six-countries/

Email me if you have any questions.

  10. Thanks for the sympathy! I’m feeling a bit better, and if I’m really lucky, it will all go away soon.

AHA! This Gabcast thing pleases me. I’ll see what I can do for your Cyber-Psalm project in the coming days. ;-)
