Peter Kirkimage at one point attempted Cyber-Psalm 33 but the phone cut out half way through. Try again?

I’ll give 33 a try again when I find time, this time with a proper microphone.

If that gabcast thing is still working, you should have a recording of me reading my favorite Cyber-Psalm, number 37 (”I thank you, Heavenly King, for George Bush, my president”).

  4. David Ker says:

Wow wow wow. It came out really well. Was that from your phone?!?

I’ll get it saved and posted ASAP.

P.S. That choice won’t be too popular with some people! ;-)

  5. Peter Kirk says:

At least Cyber-Psalm 37 will be out of date tomorrow. Would it be too much to thank our Heavenly King for that? At least, in the spirit of the original, we should be able to thank him for your new President.

  6. David Ker says:

I was exceedingly embarrassed by the ad hominem attacks on Bush by Americans. I believe in free speech and civil criticism but the hatred and scorn were counter productive to dialogue and did nothing to promote change. Was he a great President? Probably not. But would Al Gore have done better? We’ll never know.

  7. Peter Kirk says:

David, why only by Americans? Don’t say that for my sake. I don’t want to attack Bush ad hominem, although I admit to joking about him like everyone else. My issues with him were to do with his shortsighted and counterproductive foreign policy, especially in Iraq. It is for the sake of its people, and the people of other countries threatened with invasion like Iran, also for the sake of the American troops etc whose lives have been sacrificed for almost nothing, that I thank God that you will have a new President tomorrow.

    Can’t wait!
