image It’s the same version used by Go Bible for their mobile phone Bible app.

The copyright information on their website lists it as “public domain.” But there is no version or copyright information.

A few pieces of information to note:

  • Although called “Almeida Atualizada” there is no known version of the Portuguese Bible with this name.
  • It is closer to the Corrigida than the Actualizada.

Here’s 1 John 5:7:

RA93 Pois há três que dão testemunho [no céu: o Pai, a Palavra e o Espírito Santo; e estes três são um.

ACF Pois há três que dão testemunho [no céu: o Pai, a Palavra e o Espírito Santo; e estes três são um.

    Looks like it’s called “João Ferreira de Almeida Atualizada” by a bunch of online sources but that probably doesn’t add a bit. Seems to be used all over though in mobile sites and other online viewers.

    Yep, it’s a weird one. I prefer it to the Corrigida e Fiel however which is a Textus Receptus relic.
