It’s official! Wycliffe is sending a Discovery team to Mozambique in 2010. The dates are May 31 to July 9, 2010. If you are interested in cross-cultural ministry, are at least a college junior and have a desire to serve God with your talents this might be right for you. And plus you could visit me. So, what is Discovery?
- A 6-8 week trip overseas that connects you directly with long-term staff and translation work in progress—just long enough to see a more accurate picture of what missions is really like.
- A time to learn and put into practice language and culture acquisition skills through a visit to a translation project and a village stay.
- A team of incredibly diverse and talented people who work together through the rigors of living cross-culturally.
- A pre-requisite. Your Discovery trip could help meet requirements for long-term missionary service or could qualify for college credit or college internship requirements. Ask your adviser.
- A personal process. Each trip is unique to the location and the skills of the individuals involved.

I’d love to have you visit us in Mozambique. Trouble is so many of my readers are old people. The recommended age for this trip is 21 to 35!
I can’t believe you put those two logos together… (above) I am going to tell!!!! I feel so like a little brother to you right now!!
Get used to it, little bro. You’re going to be seeing those two together a lot.
Loved the video! It was fast paced and made me smile.
