What Bible verse would you inscribe on your gun?
“Coded references to biblical passages are inscribed on gunsights widely used by the US and British military in Iraq and Afghanistan, it has emerged.”
BBC: Gunsights’ biblical references concern US and UK forces

A friend suggested MT10:34, “Do not suppose that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I did not come to bring peace, but a sword.”
I considered JN 16:2b, “… a time is coming when anyone who kills you will think he is offering a service to God.
Your suggestions in the comments, please.
Other bibliobloggers mentioning this: Joel, Chuck.

Matthew 26.52?
Matthew 5.39?
Matthew 5.9?
Matthew 5.23-24?
Of course, I am sure I am reading those wrong and they should all point to using Scriptures for warmongering. Must be my postmodernist hermeneutics.
Surely Ps144.1: Praise be to the LORD my Rock, who trains my hands for war, my fingers for battle.
MT26:52 (He who lives by the sword, dies by the sword). As Joel comments.
How about 2 Samuel 22:43:-
Then did I beat them as small as the dust of the earth, I did stamp them as the mire of the street, and did spread them abroad.
“I threw down my enemy and smote his ruin on the mountainside.”
Wait, that’s Gandalf.
LOL classic that made me really laugh Chaka….
A friend of mine suggested Isa 2:4 – to which my reply has been:
As the inverse of Isa 2:4, they could use Joel 3:10 (or 4:10 depending on the chapter divisions in your Bible). How sad that, whatever your persuasion, you can find a Bible verse promoting your cause (provided you take it out of context). :S
2Ki7:8
“Then they came back, went into another tent and rifled it, and made off and hid the loot.”

Ps 10:15 “Break the arms of these evil, wicked people!” (NLT)
Ps 64:7 “God himself will shoot them down.” (NLT)
Hmmm … maybe you shouldn’t allow pacifists to comment on this post
It’s not an original or new idea, apparently. I found this (link)while reading a photo blog today about gold:
Scroll down to almost the bottom, and read under “Biblical Inscription”.
Ezekiel 25:17
The most epic Bible quote in a movie ever. A cookie to whomever can name the movie first.
John Wayne saying, “Truly this man was the son of God?” I thought any John Wayne quote would be good to have on your gun…
Pulp Fiction, I believe. Where’s my cookie?
It is from Pulp Fiction, but the verse is about 99% made up by Quentin Tarantino, borrowing from several different verses to make it “sound more biblical.”
