I drew a bunch of pictures yesterday and the day before.
Ker Family Updates from Mozambique

In this picture a clay pizza, steak, chicken, ice cream, hotdog, corn, banana, pear, fish, carrot, and loaf of bread. I made all of this and quite a lot more for Ben’s playmobile as a birthday present. He has already got it distributed around to all his little guys. Also I gave him my house that I put pics on here of earlier. He had a great birthday and topped it all off with 3 inch thick hamburgers and apple crumble for desert.

This was really fun to make. Mix 5 teaspoons of paint with 1/2 a teaspoon of water and 1/2 a teaspoon of dish soap in a cup. Then use a straw to blow lots of paint bubbles until they go up past the rim of the cup. Lower your paper down to pop the bubbles but do not touch the cup’s rim. Repeat until your paper is covered with paint bubble marks. (put your cup on top of a cookie tray so that you don’t get the table messy) If you are having trouble blowing bubbles add a bit more water. Afterwards you can dump the mixture onto the tray and have fun blowing huge bubbles. Watch out, it doesn’t wash out of cloth.
Drat, I can’t seem to publish this. I will have to just add more to it.

Dad loves hippos so I gave him this slightly whimsical one for his birthday.

My best painting yet, I think.

On Saturday I decided to do a landscape all in blues. It was really fun! Maybe I will do one in reds or yellows today.
Henry is making up his own Dungeons and Dragons like game and he needs a twenty sided die so I figured out how to make one out of equilateral triangles.
Looking over my blog, I see that I haven’t yet given you any indidication of how wierd I am (only how geeky.) That must be remedied.

The penguin I drew in art class yesterday, the quilt I have been working on for ages and I can finally start putting it together, and the wood carving I did with the wood carving tools I got for Christmas, it isn’t very good, but this is just my first attempt.

I saw a little sunbird today, but I could not find a picture of it to copy in Dad’s bird book, so I drew this Ruby throated hummingbird instead. I partially copied, partially invented the other two-I really like the dragon best.

Isn’t it great? All of the furniture is made from an egg carton, a toothpaste box, and two matchboxes. Ben likes it so much that now he wants me to make one for him. I don’t especially like doing anything more than once, but his birthday is coming up, so who knows?

I made this bag out of part of an old pair of jeans, just folded it over and sewed two sides. I added a handle and voila! A bag.

Here is the other side. I am thinking of putting it in my craft shop and selling it because I don’t really need another bag. (My craft shop is just where I sell various things I make, and make anything anyone needs.)
