I finally made it to Tete city for some meetings and discovered two huge boxes of Christmas presents sent from the States had arrived at the post office. One of them was sent in mid-November. The amazing thing is that in inspecting the contents of the very beat-up boxes it appears that nothing was stolen.

So, since I know the givers of these gifts would have wanted us to celebrate properly, we pulled out an artificial tree, decorated it with Valentines and will open presents on Saturday morning.

One bag of M&M’s was stolen but that was done by Daddy…
